Not only is Will’s success in the ring in Canada unprecedented, he also has a passion for passing along his knowledge. One of his mentors is the great George Alston, known by many as the best teacher in the sport of showing Purebred dogs. Will’s intent is to carry on the tradition of his mentor with seminars and on-line education through the Leading Edge Dog Show Academy. Will has created an extensive library of virtual training videos that teach techniques and skills, that for many years could only be learned in-person with trainers or in handling classes. It’s also important to note that many of Will’s students and apprentices have also gone on to achieve great heights in the sport.

ABOUT MEET THE PROFESSIONALS

Meet the Professionals for Junior Handlers is a monthly webinar facilitated by Kelly Lyn Marquis and WinAll Coaching LLC. The purpose of the program is to bridge the gap between professional dog show handlers and junior handlers who aspire to become pros. It provides an opportunity for juniors to get to know handlers on a more personal level, learn unique training tips and methods, and create an open forum for juniors to access the expertise of top professionals nationwide. Junior handlers are typically between 9 and 18 years old.

The program is designed for junior handlers but anyone interested in professional handling is welcome to attend.
